Cyber Crime Against Women Complaint

Cyber Crime Against Women Complaint

A cybercrime complaint should clearly explain what happened, when it happened, which platform or account was involved and what evidence is available.

Step 1: Preserve evidence

Save screenshots, chat records, URLs, usernames, phone numbers, emails and relevant files. Keep the original evidence secure.

Step 2: Prepare a chronology

List incidents in date order and explain repeated contact, threats, blackmail or other conduct. Mention if the accused used multiple accounts.

Step 3: Use the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal

The official portal provides a dedicated Women/Children Related Crime route with options to report anonymously in specified circumstances and to register and track a complaint. It also provides an Other Cyber Crime route. citeturn0search10turn0search1
