Obscene Video Complaint India

Obscene Video Complaint India

If an obscene or sexually explicit video has been unlawfully shared, published or used to harass you, preserve the evidence and consider reporting it.

Preserve evidence

  • Save the exact URL where the video appears.
  • Screenshot the account or post.
  • Record the username, phone number or other identifier.
  • Preserve messages showing who sent or shared it.
  • Record the date and time.

Do not redistribute the video

Do not forward the video merely to demonstrate what happened. Provide evidence through appropriate reporting or legal channels.

Cybercrime complaint

The National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal accepts online cybercrime complaints. Its FAQ states that the portal caters to online, social-media and sexually explicit-content related cybercrime, with reporting routes for women/children-related crime and other cybercrime. citeturn0search0
